louvered or not. Louvered shutters have panels such as those found
in blinds. Usually, these panels can be opened or closed depending
if you want the light to come through or not. Another design is the
raised panel. This makes the exterior shutter look like the outside

consider is vinyl shutters. Vinyl can be made to look like wood but

will depend on many factors but you should factor in ease of
maintenance as well.
